How to Take the Accuplacer Test During COVID-19
Keri Emnett, School Counselor
Monday, April 13, 2020

COVID-19 Update:

Shawnee State University is now available to give Accuplacer exams through Zoom.  SSU understands that many people still need to take the Accuplacer exam in order to start as new students (if you are over 21), take College Credit Plus courses, or to test out of the Bridge Program.  In order to help protect our staff and prospective students from the coronavirus, we are currently only able to conduct Accuplacer exams online.  Your exam will be given through Zoom and proctored by a Shawnee State Testing Proctor.

To take the exam you must have access to a quiet room where you can be alone, a computer with a webcam and a microphone, and reliable internet access.  If you do not have these items, unfortunately, you cannot take the Accuplacer exam at this time.

You can take your exam:

Monday: 1pm-5pm

Tuesday: 1pm-5pm

Wednesday: 1pm-5pm

Thursday: 8am-12pm

Friday: 2pm-6pm

Saturday: 8am-12pm

You can register for the exam by going to:  We have limited space each day, so please select a different day if your first choice is not available.

After you register, you will be e-mailed a list of instructions for how to take your exam.

If you have any questions, please e-mail Rebecca Childers at or call the Success Center at 740-351-3594.
